The Royal Oak Inn is a pub with campsite and detached self-catering holiday accommodation in the Peak District National Park.
The pub is a characterful freehouse dating back to at least 1760 and is located beside the wonderful scenery of the Manifold Valley in a village called Wetton.
It is within walking distance of local attractions such as Thors Cave, Wetton Mill and the stepping stones at Dovedale and is therefore popular with walkers, campers and cyclists as well as those just wanting to view the sweeping hillside while out on a leisurely drive.
We serve home cooked food and a selection of fine real ales. We also have a secluded (registered) campsite situated at the rear of the premises complete with Male/Female toilets and showers, but no electrical hook up. Current charges are £5 per person per night (£2.50 for children under 11). There is a minimum stay of 2 nights at weekends from Easter to October, 3 nights for the June Bank Holiday.
We have now completed the conversion of THE HAYLOFT, which is a detached 2 bedroomed spacious barn conversion sited between the pub and the church. Please click here or use the link on the left for further information.
Please browse our Web site for more information about The Royal Oak Inn, The Hayloft and their facilities.
